James (Acey) Johnson is a bass player, producer/ songwriter based in Clayton NC. While growing up in Brooklyn New York in the 70s and 80s, his style of music and songwriting is a unique blend of smooth Jazz, Soul, and Gospel. He has collaborated with great artist i.e., Greg Williams of S.W.I.T.CH., Jazz singer, Eleanor Mills, and Sharon Jones of the dap Kings.
